REQUEST: <br /> The Department of Public Works is requesting an ordinance to amend Ordinance 21- , by adding <br /> appropriation to the Operating Budget to appropriate excess Fuel Tax revenues to the Capital Projects Fund: <br /> Revenue 020.3609.08 Fund Balance from Previous Year- Reserved $100,014.94 <br /> 020.3104.06 Fuel Tax- Designated CIP $600,000.00 <br /> Appropriation 020.801.5801.34.341 Transfer to Capital Projects Fund $700,014.94 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> In FY 2020-21, $3,000,000 was budgeted for Fuel Tax CIP revenue. The actual Fuel Tax CIP revenue <br /> realized was $3,100,014.94, exceeding the budgeted amount by $100,014.94. <br /> In FY 2021-22, $3,000,000 is budgeted for Fuel Tax CIP revenue. The actual Fuel Tax CIP revenue we <br /> anticipate receiving may exceed the budgeted amount by $600,000. <br /> A bill for an ordinance to appropriate these excess revenues received and anticipated of$700,014.94 to the <br /> Transfer to Capital Projects Fund is needed in order for the Department of Public Works to expend the funds. <br /> SIGNED: <br /> DATE: <br /> Department Head <br />
