®dK4Y os kq�y <br /> COUNTY OF t «; ;« STATE <br /> i <br /> 7TE OF•ItPi <br /> i <br /> RESOLUTION No. 3S7 22 <br /> i <br /> i <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINGH T OF FUNDS <br /> TER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> O ANALYZE AND PROPOSE AMENDMENTS TO THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), CHAPTER <br /> 23, SUBDIVISIONS AND CHAPTER 25, ZONING FOR THE <br /> PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for two (2) years, for consultant services to analyze and propose <br /> amendments to the Chapter 23, Subdivisions and Chapter 25, Zoning of the <br /> Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended); and <br /> WHEREAS, subdivision control and zoning codes require review and revision <br /> to provide consistency and to ensure best practices in land use regulations; now <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a two (2) year <br /> agreement for the services as indicated above, for the Planning <br /> Department. <br />
