The subject property is located along the south side <br /> of Kaloko Drive at the northeastern comer of its intersection with Hao Street, Kaloko Mauka <br /> Subdivision, Kaloko,North Kona, Hawaii. <br /> The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council based on <br /> the Planning Director's recommendation. At the request of the Commission, the Planning <br /> Director will facilitate a working group with the State Department of Transportation and <br /> Department of Public Works to determine how to spend the funds that have been allocated to the <br /> Kaloko, Drive/Mdmalahoa Highway Intersection. The Planning Director agreed to report back to <br /> the Commission at its July 21, 2022, meeting on the findings of the working group. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for favorable <br /> consideration of the request: <br /> Hawai'i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
