REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: August 2, 2022 Re: Comm.No. 892/Res.No. 473-22 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 2:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo,Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 473-22,reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 473-22,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 892, dated <br /> July 15,2022, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the United States Geological Survey. <br /> Funds in the amount of$50,576 would be used to continue the Cooperative Flood-Monitoring Program, <br /> which consists of the planning and designing of flood management systems such as bridges, culverts, <br /> and levees. <br /> Per Committee Member Susan L. K.
