The subject property is located east of Highway 11 (Volcano Highway), <br /> west of Railroad Avenue, and north of Highway 130 (Kea'au-Pahoa Highway), Kea'au, Puna, <br /> Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council for the <br /> application based on the Planning Director's recommendation. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for favorable <br /> consideration of the request: <br /> The applicant, Ke`Aloha Lani LLC, has submitted an application to amend conditions of <br /> Change of Zone Ordinance No. 17 65 which was originally approved on September 29, <br /> 2017 to change the zoning from an Agricultural (A-20a) to General Industrial (MG-20) <br /> zoning district for 6.505 acres of land.
