The Department of Research and Development wishes to <br /> amend Resolution 541-22 and Bill 211 in order to make the following changes (material <br /> to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored): <br /> Proposed amendments to Resolution No. 541-22: <br /> 1. The title is amended to read as follows: <br /> "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> MONETARY DONATION OF APPROXIMATELY [$ 800] $240,000 TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII POLICE DEPARTMENT" <br /> 2. The first WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br /> "WHEREAS, IRONMAN is donating approximately [$110;000] $240,000 to the <br /> Hawaii County Police Department; and" <br /> Comm.
