i <br /> ®JxgV OF <br /> 4l'ire,. si I <br /> COUNTY OF <br /> r <br /> HAWAII t: :tSTATE OF HAWAIJ <br /> '!Tg <br /> 60;F <br /> SOLUTION NO. 561 22 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING TWENTY ( ) " <br /> (TEMPORARY) POSITIONS FOR THE DEPARTMENTF <br /> HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources is in need of twenty <br /> (20) new On Call (Temp) positions for a pilot program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources and the Department <br /> of Parks and Recreation have partnered to develop an on-call pilot program; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, these On Call (Temp) positions will be unfunded and <br /> utilized to provide day-to-day coverage for staffing shortages within the <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that twenty (20) On Call (Temporary) positions be created in the Department <br /> of Human Resources. <br />
