Federal Grants-Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act $ 1,647,337.00 <br /> 065. WIOA-Administrative/Planning 2022-23 $ 164,734.00 <br /> 065. WIOA-Adult Program 2022-23 $ 615,398.00 <br /> 065. WIOA—Dislocated Worker Program 2022-23 $ 277,263.00 <br /> 065. WIOA—Youth Program 2022-23 $ 589,942.00 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> This appropriation reflects anticipating funding allocations by the State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the Program <br /> Year(PY)2022 WIOA Program. These funds will be utilized to assist adults,dislocated workers, and youth by providing services that <br /> will train individuals to increase employment, retention,earnings,skills, and literacy and thereby improving the quality of the <br /> Adults/Dislocated Workers/Youth, reducing welfare redundancy,and enhancing the productivity and competitiveness of the local <br /> economy. <br /> Research&Development(R&D)emphasizes that no County General Funds are involved in these transactions.
