Additional federally-derived funds in the <br /> amount of$1,400 are being provided by the State of Hawaii Department of <br /> Transportation to establish a statewide traffic data system and ensure compliance with <br /> national standards. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawaii County Police's HCPD Data Grant account, bringing the <br /> total appropriation to $74,400. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Hauoli Aiona of the Hawaii <br /> County Police Department at 961-2273. <br /> Deanna S.
