STATE G <br /> I <br /> Mw <br /> l,TE OF'NA'�r <br /> k <br /> 4 <br /> SOLUTION NO. 569 22 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE WREATHS FOR THE WEST <br /> HAWAII VETERANS CEMETERY-PU`U HO`OMAHA O NA PO`E KOA O HAWAII <br /> KOOHANA FOR THE NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY. <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor <br /> those that serve, and teach the value of freedom by coordinating the laying of wreaths at veterans <br /> cemeteries across the United States; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br /> wreaths for the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery-Pu`u Ho`omaha O Na Po`e Koa O Hawaii <br /> Komohana("West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery") for the National Wreaths Across America Day; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, cadets of the Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol, Kona Composite Squadron, <br /> will lay the wreaths upon each grave at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for the National <br /> Wreaths Across America Day; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to purchase wreaths for the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for the <br /> National Wreaths Across America Day. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,000 <br /> P&R Admin OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
