Sako via Communication No. 1045 <br /> dated September 30, 2022, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one <br /> fiscal year for a multi-year agreement for managed services for the Department of Information <br /> Technology. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year agreement with Hawaiian Telcom for <br /> cybersecurity protection,with an approximate monthly cost of$3,088.20. <br /> Committee Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder asked for a brief summary from Information Technology <br /> Director Scott Uehara. <br /> Committee Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz expressed gratitude towards Mr. Uehara. <br /> Chair Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder asked Mr. Uehara a question regarding the current cybersecurity plan. <br /> Mr Uehara expressed that he would rather have that conversation with Chair Kanealii-Kleinfelder <br /> privately to avoid publicly giving away the County's defensive measures.
