No. 1035 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> Your Committee on Regenerative Agriculture, Water, Energy, and Environmental Management, <br /> to which was referred Communication No. 1035, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 1035, transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated September 27, 2022, <br /> submitting for the Council's review and confirmation the nomination of Natalie Reynolds to the <br /> Game Management Advisory Commission, pursuant to Section 6-9.3 of the Hawaii County Charter. <br /> A motion to move Communication No. 1035 to full Council with a positive recommendation was <br /> made by Council Member Rebecca Villegas; seconded by Council Member Susan Lee Loy. <br /> Pomaika`i Bartolome, Executive Assistant to Mayor Roth, shared with Your Committee of <br /> nominee's education and business accolades, and her fishing, hunting, and tracking experience <br /> equating to an important contributor to the Game Management Commission representing Council <br /> District 7. If approved, nominee Reynolds would serve a term ending December 31, 2026. <br /> Nominee Reynolds was not present for the meeting and was not available via phone outreach. <br /> A consensus of Your Committee noted the importance of nominees be present for their approval <br /> before Committee, with Council Member Villegas noting her disappointment as nominee <br /> represents Council District 7.
