The pumping unit is housed in a 20"well casing_which is approximately 1-744 feet deep- The <br /> pump bowl diameter is 11" and the pump is approximately 9 feet long- The motor is a 2-Pole, 800 <br /> horsepower,4-160-volt submersible motor. The motor diameter is 18" and it is approximately 11 feet <br /> long. <br /> Prior Fhsrorv <br /> Desi geed wid built in November 1997-Honokohau Deepwell has imdergone repair seven(7)times prior <br /> to this cturent repair_ <br /> Current Repair Status <br /> Honokohau Deepwell is currently undergoing repair. Contractor for this repair is BeAik Drilling and <br /> Pump Ser ices, Inc- Repairs include the replacement of the existing deep%4AI submersible pump and <br /> motor. with reinstallation of power cable, column pipe- air line and all apptutenant materials, such as <br /> strapping, and chlorination of the well and pumping assembly- Motor was extracted and shipped to <br /> manatfacturer for teardown and evaluation. Results confu med that motor suffered damage to the motor <br /> windings, therefore- motor needs to be rewound. Spare pump inspection is complete and contractor is <br /> prepLuing pump for installation.
