J't.�Yf®F array <br /> COUNTY FHA ` {' STATE F A <br /> TF OF H,'i <br /> SOLUTION NO. 17 22 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK-DISPATCHER 1 <br /> POSITION FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of a Clerk-Dispatcher I <br /> position to accommodate and support the Animal Control Program for the <br /> County of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, this position is necessary to assist in receiving and <br /> disseminating calls and to make referrals and advise callers with Animal <br /> Control issues; and <br /> WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Clerk-Dispatcher 1, <br /> SR-12; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that one (1) Clerk-Dispatcher I, SR-12, position be created in the Police <br /> Department. <br />
