He filled the remainder of a term of <br /> resignation with a term expiration date of December 31, 2022. He is now eligible to serve a full <br /> term. <br /> As noted previously, Mr. Kosaki retired as Battalion Chief in 2018 from the Hawai`i Fire <br /> Department after 29 years of dedicated service. He is committed to remaining active and <br /> involved, volunteering his time and experience to numerous civic and educational organizations. <br /> If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027. <br /> Your favorable confirmation is requested.
