i I J�y.4 0i k ly O y � ••� ��diyr COUNTY OF HAWAII iv _* STATE OF HAWAII �r�'oF.e+►'f* 3 3 RESOLUTION NO. 38 23 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE ISLAND OF HAWAII YMCA TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATION. WHEREAS, the Island of Hawaii YMCA(YMCA) is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization that supports the community through its programs and activities in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility; and WHEREAS, the YMCA provides health and fitness classes, day camps, online education, family visitations, etc., and is seeking assistance to purchase and install a water bottle filling station to provide a healthy environment for its participating members; and WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control supports organizations that bring awareness and education to our youth and community on living a healthy, alcohol-free, and drug- free lifestyle; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to the Island of Hawaii YMCA to assist with expenses related to the purchase and installation of a water bottle filling station. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
