QVM-gVrOF p�y <br /> COUNTY OF IG <br /> T �16t1�. <br /> i' "* STATE G <br /> vela,g Mi MOF''' j <br /> 1}F Of NP� <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> 3 <br /> NO. 49 23 <br /> 3 <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> TH II F FUNDS OF A <br /> i <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF FOUR (4) COMPACTING REFUSE <br /> TRAILERS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL I <br /> MANAGEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease <br /> agreement for five (5) years, for four (4) Compacting Refuse Trailers; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment will be used by the Solid Waste Division to <br /> transport refuse from various transfer stations to the East Hawaii Regional Sort <br /> Station (EHRSS) or West Hawaii Sanitary Landfill (WHSL); now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`1: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year <br /> lease agreement for the equipment as indicated above, for the <br /> Department of Environmental Management. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the <br /> agreement. <br />
