BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Seeking authorization to enter into a three (3)year agreement to continue the County's participation in the <br /> Microsoft Enterprise Agreement program. The Enterprise Agreement program is a volume licensing program <br /> designed for organizations with 500 or more devices or users that need to license Microsoft products for their <br /> enterprise. The program provides cost effective licensing options and flexibility with Microsoft technologies. <br /> Under the Enterprise Agreement, the County is authorized to license multiple Microsoft products, including <br /> Windows operating systems, for both desktop and server, Micorsoft Office and other software offerings. In <br /> addition, The Enterprise Agreement program provides volume discounts, centralized management of <br /> software assets, technical support and training. j <br /> The Department of Information Technology has been participating with the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement <br /> program since 2017.
