This proposed amendment is illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the <br /> contents of Bill No. 18, material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and new material is <br /> underscored. <br /> Bill No. 18 is amended by amending the definition of"Qualified worker," in section 11-3, <br /> SECTION I of the bill,to read as follows: <br /> ""Qualified worker"means a person who earns at least seventy-five percent of their income <br /> within [the Gatinly ,.fu.,..ai' ,] fifteen miles of any affordable housing project for which <br /> the office of housing and community development is responsible, as demonstrated by <br /> income tax returns filed with the State of Hawai'i, form W-2 tax forms, or a notarized letter <br /> from their employer." <br /> Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a copy of the revised draft of this bill that <br /> would result if this proposed amendment is adopted is not attached. <br /> HK:dbk <br /> Com` N <br /> N <br /> Ref.
