BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget for the Solid Waste Fund includes a grant from the State Department of <br /> Health for the Beverage Container Deposit Program. The Department of Health is increasing this award for <br /> FY22-23 by $22,709 to cover the increased cost of operating the Certified Redemption Centers (CRC's) at <br /> select transfer stations. This brings the total award for FY22-23 to $597,099.
