Roth, dated March 2, 2023, requests <br /> the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Scott F. Martin to the Board of <br /> Appeals. <br /> Executive Assistant to the Mayor Pomaika`i Bartolome was present in the Hilo Chambers to <br /> introduce Mr. Martin, who was present in the Kona Chambers. <br /> Pursuant to Article 6, Chapter 9, Section 6-9.2 of the Hawai`i County Charter, members of the <br /> Board of Appeals shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council. <br /> Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose <br /> and intent of Communication No. 142, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of <br /> Scott F.
