OFN, ... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII i =• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • ,TE Oi•M'•1' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 117 23 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A <br /> MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT TO ADD A COMMAND CENTRAL <br /> COMMUNITY MODULE TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S CURRENT <br /> RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, Police Department wishes to enter into a new <br /> five (5) year, multi-year agreement with Motorola.; and <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement provides for the addition of a "Command Central <br /> Community" module to the Police Department's current records management system; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this module will allow the implementation of"on-line reporting" in <br /> which individuals may report minor crimes and non-crimes on-line; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year <br /> agreement for the "Command Central Community" module as described <br /> above, for the Police Department. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
