ISO 2.1 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE RESCUE EQUIPMENT AND <br /> SUPPLIES FOR THE MAKALEI FIRE STATION° <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department's Makalei Fire Station in North Kona has <br /> been operating since 2012 serving residents and visitors of the growing North Kona and West <br /> Hawaii area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department has identified the need for rescue equipment <br /> and supplies at its Makalei Fire Station in West Hawaii, which will improve departmental <br /> readiness during emergency and hazard responses; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department's mission is to provide exceptional, all <br /> hazards emergency services to the residents and visitors of Hawaii Island; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Fire <br /> Department for rescue equipment and supplies for the Makalei Fire Station in West Hawaii. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $16,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $16,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.221.6223.06 Hawaii Fire Department $16,000 <br /> Fire Auxiliary Service Equipment <br /> 458 Rescue Equipment <br /> (Makalei Fire Station—Rescue Equipment <br /> and Supplies) <br />
