This appointment will be effective at <br /> 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. <br /> Mr. Ewbank has over 20 years of technical and supervisory experience in information <br /> technology positions. Robert has been working in the Planning Department where he <br /> has quickly mastered the departmental information technology needs. He worked for <br /> ten years as the lead information technology Administrator for Bucholz Army Airfield on <br /> Kwajalein Atoll as a civilian contractor. Prior to that he held several information <br /> technology leadership roles at companies providing all aspects of information <br /> technology and support for various types of providers. Mr. Ewbank has proven himself in <br /> the county and his extensive experience has prepared him for the DIT Director position. <br /> Mr. Ewbank will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 2, <br /> 2024. <br /> Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(g) of the Rules of Procedures and Organization of the Council of <br /> the County of Hawaii, we respectfully request a waiver of nomination through <br /> committee so that it may be considered by the full County Council on June 7, 2023. <br /> Thank you for your favorable consideration of this appointment.
