REQUEST: <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a 5-year term of two units at <br /> 203 Kekuanaoa Street, Hilo, Hawai'i <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Work to rehabilitate/replace the Hilo Wastewater Treatment Plant, Phase I and Phase II, is anticipated to <br /> displace operations crew and the line crew for the duration of construction. The lease of this property will <br /> allow wastewater personnel to continue operations without interruption. <br /> The Department of Environmental Management, Wastewater Division is proposing to enter into a 5 year <br /> lease agreement for two units at 203 Kekuanaoa Street, Hilo, HI, 96720: 1) Unit 203A, consisting of <br /> approximately 12,144 square feet of warehouse space, and 2) Unit 203B, consisting of 2,560 square feet of <br /> secured parking.
