These funds were to be used to support the 2023 Waipi`o Valley <br /> Kalo Festival. However, the festival will not be held this year, and the department is <br /> requesting that the funds be returned to the Legislative Contingency Relief account. <br /> The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that this resolution be waived from <br /> Finance Committee and be placed on the June 7, 2023 Council agenda in order to <br /> expedite the transfer of these funds.
