In addition to his <br /> academic achievements, Mr. Plunkett has actively engaged in research and internships. <br /> Mr. Plunkett has demonstrated his commitment to community engagement and service through <br /> his role as a board member of the University of Hawaii at Hilo Community Advisory Board, <br /> and a former Section Lead of Natural and Cultural Resources for the County of Hawaii, <br /> Planning Department. His active involvement in the community showcases his dedication to <br /> promoting and preserving cultural heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.
