Pelletier to the Kona Community Development Plan, Action <br /> Committee. <br /> John is a seven-year resident of Hawai'i who originally attended Belton High School in Belton, <br /> Texas, from 2006-2010. After completing high school, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree <br /> in Physics from the University of Texas in Austin from 2010-2014. During his undergraduate <br /> studies,he also concurrently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy from the same <br /> university. <br /> John is currently employed with Keck Observatory in Kamuela as an Observing Assistant. He <br /> has a desire to contribute to the community and believes that active participation in local <br /> decision-making processes is crucial for creating positive change.
