No. 209-23 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 2:20 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions,to which was referred Resolution <br /> No. 209-23, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 209-23, transmitted by Council Member Michelle Galimba, via Communication <br /> No. 376, dated July 14, 2023, awards a Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation <br /> Maintenance Fund Stewardship Grant to Ho`omalu <br /> This resolution would approve a grant of$28,000 to Ho`omalu Ka`u, a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization <br /> for public safety maintenance and preservation of the Kahua `Olohu, Kaunamano Property in Ka`u, <br /> (Tax Map Key: 9-5-012:005),pursuant to Section 10-16(h) of the Hawai`i County Charter. <br /> Council Member Galimba asked for everyone's support.
