COUNTY OF HAWAII : •:h SA:• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> o�. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 234 23 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A <br /> MULTI—YEAR AGREEMENT FOR AN ENTERPRISE RESOURCE <br /> PLANNING (ERP) SYSTEM <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment offunds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii currently uses an Enterprise Resource Planning <br /> (ERP) system which is approximately twenty (20) years old and which in the near future, <br /> the vendor will no longer support; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement for <br /> ten (10) years, for a new ERP system for the Finance Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement provides for annual licensing, maintenance and <br /> support fees for the system indicated above; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a ten (10) year <br /> agreement for an ERP system, for the Finance Department. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
