Completed <br />reconciliation of last month's transactions in QuickBooks. <br />h. Processed reimbursements and invoices and uploaded documentation to the <br />HSACgoogle drive as well as sent out copies of the documentation to the HSAC <br />President. <br />i. Requested quotes for D&O insurance from the following companies: <br />• Hawaii Financial Advisors, Inc., ljrs��m-cL.LOJ�u <br />• Paradise Insurance, (808) 315 7207 <br />• King & Neel LLC, sean. !jc(jr° , lain iLeel, corn <br />• HANO, Rick Humphreys, Monarch insurance, <br />• Atlas insurance,cir <br />o Coordinated with a third party CPA to complete the Form 990 tax filing for FY <br />July 2021 - June 2022. <br />o Update on quotes from various accounting firms, for an audit of the accounts. <br />Eight CPAs originally contacted and none of them were currently offering <br />auditing services, the following is the result of their recommended referrals to <br />other accountants who may be able to conduct an audit: <br />• Maria Fahnestock, Carbonara CPAs: Evaluating their availability and <br />will get back to us. <br />• Brian Van Camp: 12/31/2023 delivery deadline, audit fee: $14,250. <br />• Terri Fujii at CW Associates: no capacity at this time. <br />• Dustin Verity at Verity and Associates: request for quote submitted, <br />pending a response. <br />• Updated procedures for invoice and reimbursement processing. <br />VI. Fundraising Plan <br />a. ED met with consultants from NACo membership and programs. <br />b. HSAC signed the " L ive .Hea1'thy ..)ro ram. "This is the NACo drug prescription <br />program that generates revenue for HSAC. Next steps include building out <br />communications to increase awareness about the program. <br />c. Pricing information from E&M Consulting for an HSAC brochure: HSAC would <br />receive 15% of the advertising revenue after $5000 has been raised. HSAC would <br />need to specify who would be appropriate to reach out to request sponsorship and <br />support from. Timeline for completion is approx. 5 months with E&M consulting, <br />this would be just in time for the HSAC conference. <br />d. Inquiring with other associations on potential grant funding opportunities. <br />VII. NACo Update: IZe 7islranon is open for the 2023 NACo Annual Conference in Travis <br />County, Texas. July 21-24, 2023. <br />VIII. Legislative Update: 11B118 has gone to the Governor for signature as of 4/28/2023. <br />Awaiting signature or notice of intent to veto, deadline for Governor to take action is July <br />11, 2023. <br />
