COUNTY OF HAWAI`I :•EA . .,•f1.1* STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 254 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PAPA'ALOA ALL HALLOW'S EVE <br /> COMMUNITY EVENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, provides a <br /> diversified recreation program that addresses the needs and interests of the respective <br /> communities in a safe environment at County recreational facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Recreation Division plans, conducts, arranges, or promotes organized <br /> recreation, athletics, crafts, and other leisure time activities for all age groups at recreation <br /> centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Recreation Division is planning a community All Hallow's Eve event at <br /> Papa'aloa annex on October 30, 2023, which will include costume contests, candy, refreshments, <br /> entertainment, trunk or treat line up, a mini haunted stroll, and other activities presented in a safe <br /> and fun environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Recreation Division is requesting funds to support the Papa`aloa All <br /> Hallow's Eve event; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its Papa`aloa All Hallow's Eve event. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
