COUNTY OF HAWAI I . `;. - STATE OF HAWAI I <br /> f pF.NI. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 25'7 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF <br /> PLANTER BOXES AT PAPA'ALOA ELDERLY HOUSING. <br /> WHEREAS,the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) provides for <br /> the planning, administration, and operation of all of the County of Hawai`i housing programs; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Papa`aloa Elderly Housing, owned by the County of Hawai`i and managed <br /> by Big Island Housing Foundation, consists of 10 residential duplex buildings, one manager unit, <br /> and a community building; and <br /> WHEREAS, the residents of Papa`aloa Elderly Housing have requested planter boxes to <br /> assist their gardening ventures to grow food, plants, and flowers for their enjoyment; and <br /> WHEREAS,the OHCD is requesting funds to purchase and install 20 planter boxes and <br /> for miscellaneous gardening supplies for Papa`aloa Elderly Housing; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Office of Housing <br /> and Community Development for the purchase and installation of planter boxes at Papa`aloa <br /> • Elderly Housing. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
