ARTICLE IV OFFICER AND BOARD MEMBER DUTIES <br />SECTION 1. The officers of the board shall consist of a Executive Director, Associate Director, <br />Secretary, and Treasurer nominated by the Board. <br />SECTION 2. Elected officers will serve a term of one year. Term may be extended if duties have been <br />completed in previous year(s). <br />SECTION 3: Duties <br />A. The Executive Director shall: <br />♦ Preside at all Board meetings <br />♦ Produce meeting agenda <br />♦ Appoint committee members with approval by board. <br />♦ Perform other duties as associated with the office, <br />B. The Associate Director shall: <br />♦ Assist the Executive Director in presiding in meetings and any other duties assigned by <br />Executive Director. <br />♦ Assume the duties of the Executive Director in case of the Chair's absence. <br />♦ Assume duties of the Secretary in case of the Secretary's absence. <br />C. The Secretary shall: <br />♦ Be responsible for the minutes of the Board, recording them during meetings. <br />♦ Keep all approved minutes in a minute book <br />♦ Shall send out copies of the previous meetings minutes to the board seven (7) days prior. <br />D. The Treasurer shall: <br />♦ Keep record of the organization's budget and prepare financial reports as needed. <br />♦ Manage board financial records. <br />♦ Solicit and manage grants with Executive Director, reporting to the board. <br />E. All board members including officers shall: <br />♦ Attend board meetings. <br />♦ Represent the organization ethically and responsibly in accordance with the organizations <br />purpose, By -Laws and Articles of Incorporation. <br />ARTICLE V COMMITTEES <br />SECTION 1. The Board may appoint committees as needed. <br />SECTION 2. Committees shall be designated a purpose statement upon creation. <br />SECTION 3: Committees shall consist of one or more board members, who shall make committee <br />reports to the board to report activities. <br />ARTICLE VI FINANCES <br />
