No. 443/Res. No. 253-23 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 253-23, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 253-23, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 443 <br />dated August 31, 2023, changes time element of a half-time Assistant County Physician to full-time. <br />This resolution requests adjustments to full-time to address an increase in employee examinations <br />in West Hawaii. <br />Committee Member Holeka Goro Inaba asked Finance Director Deanna Sako to provide more <br />information on this measure. <br />Committee Member Cindy Evans asked Ms. Sako to clarify if this Physician was strictly for <br />County employee use, to which Ms. Sako confirmed. <br />Committee Member Rebecca Villegas provided more background on this measure and how this <br />impacts County employees.
