Reference: Comm. 481 Intr. by: Mr. Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder(B/R) Res. 284-23: AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES Allows for the receipt of$2,000,000 in federally-derived funds to support the implementation and on-going operations of a new homeless shelter program. Reference: Comm. 482 Intr. by: Mr. Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder(B/R) BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Bill 73: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 23-50, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 202 Appropriates revenues in the 2023 Emergency Proclamation Homeless Programs— Federal account($2,000,000); and appropriates the same to the 2023 Emergency Proclamation Homeless Programs account($1,900,000); and the 2023 Emergency Proclamation Homeless Programs—Administration account($100,000). Funds would be used to support the implementation and on-going operations of a new homeless shelter program.
