COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI°I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 354 23 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION WITH ITS HONOKA`A VALENTINE'S TEEN DANCE. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans, <br />conducts, arranges, and promotes organized recreation, athletics, crafts, community events, and <br />other leisure -time activities for all age groups at recreation centers and facilities throughout the <br />County of I-Iawai`i; and <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Division is planning a Valentine's teen dance for the <br />community at the Honoka`a Sports Complex on February 9, 2024, which will include music, <br />refreshments, and fun activities presented in a safe environment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to cover <br />expenses for disc jockey fees, a PA (public address) sound system, refreshments, and other <br />supplies to support its Honcka`a Valentine's Teen Dance; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for its Honoka'a Valentine's I cen Dance. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OI; <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,000 <br />OUT AND FROM <br />010.101.5101.91 <br />Clerk-CouncilSVC— Contingency Relief $3,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.02 <br />Department of Parks and Recreation $1,500 <br />Recreation Div OCE <br />341 Misc.
