South Hilo. I Iawai'i. <br />The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council based on <br />the Deputy planning Director's recommendation. <br />The Commission concurred with the Deputy Planning Director's following reasons for a <br />favorable consideration of the request. Criteria for granting the favorable recommendation are <br />shown below in bold print: <br />The applicant is requesting a Change of Zone from an Agricultural-3 acres (A-3a) <br />to a Single-family Residential-20 square feet (RS-20) zoning district fora 23.012-square <br />foot portion of a larger 5.1 acres of land.
