JMtV <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •( ;'--.0:• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> , �Tp OF•M,�-. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 374 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2024 SUMMER FUN PROGRAM AT THE <br /> NA'ALEHU COMMUNITY CENTER. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2024 Summer Fun Program at <br /> the Na`alehu Community Center, located at Na`alehu Park, provides arts-and-crafts activities and <br /> recreation for elementary school students during the summer break; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are needed to assist low-income families in the Ka`u district to ensure <br /> an affordable opportunity for children to participate in the 2024 Summer Fun Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to offset the <br /> out-of-pocket costs per child for registration fees, transportation, and other activities for its 2024 <br /> Summer Fun Program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its 2024 Summer Fun Program at the Nd'alehu Community Center. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $4,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $4,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5509.25 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,000 <br /> Summer/Intersession Class/Activities <br /> 341 Misc.
