REQUEST: <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD) is requesting to amend Ordinance 23-50 by <br /> appropriating the following: <br /> REVENUE: <br /> Community Project Funding Hilo Memorial Hospital Renovations 152.3310.xx $13,000,000.00 <br /> EXPENDITURE: <br /> Community Project Funding Hilo Memorial Hospital Renovations 152.461.5466.xx $13,000,000.00 <br /> Please also submit a resolution to authorize the Mayor to execute and submit all required agreements, and <br /> other related documents for a multi-year agreement with the US Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawai'i received written notification that its request for federal grant funding from the US <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development from its Community Project Funding has been approved. <br /> The Community Project funding will be used for renovations to include, but not be limited to roof <br /> replacement, hazardous material mitigations, and to support other assessment, design, repairs, and <br /> renovation costs of the Hilo Memorial Hospital located at 34 Rainbow Drive in South Hilo. <br /> The ordinance will set up the proper accounts to receive and expend the grant funds. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: <br /> partment Head <br />
