JMSY OF oltb <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I .;� • STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> • <br /> .1TF OF•HF,� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 386 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF BIOASTIN SUPPLEMENTS TO THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`I FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Cyanotech Corporation is donating two (2)bottles of BioAstin, sixty <br /> (60) count per bottle, 4MG vegan formula for each working uniformed firefighter, totaling <br /> approximately seven hundred ninety (790) bottles to the County of Hawai`i Fire Department; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this BioAstin supplement, valued at approximately $18,208.08, will be <br /> utilized by the uniformed firefighters to support their physical fitness and health; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br />
