Additional federally <br /> derived funds in the amount of$169,728 are being provided by the State of Hawai`i <br /> Department of the Attorney General, Hawai`i Criminal Justice Data Center to convert <br /> paper files to electronic formats and to fund overtime hours for staff to scan and review <br /> documents for electronic conversion. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawai`i County Police's NICS Act Record Improvement <br /> Program account, bringing the total appropriation to $715,488. <br /> If there are any questions,please do not hesitate to call Hauoli Aiona of the Police <br /> Department at 961-2273. <br /> V <br /> Deanna S.
