OJ�tY OF H,.7 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I •� �:'- '% •- STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> .04 <br /> rE.OF*Hg <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 390 2 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HAWAI`I STATE ASSOCIATION OF <br /> COUNTIES' EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SLATE OF OFFICERS. <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i State Association of Counties ("HSAC") Bylaws require each <br /> County Council to appoint one of its members to serve as an officer of the HSAC Executive <br /> Committee, and to designate an alternate member; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 5 of the HSAC Bylaws requires that, in making the appointment, <br /> each Council shall delegate to its appointees sufficient authority to formulate a proposed slate of <br /> officers and alternates; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its December 18, 2023, meeting, the HSAC Executive Committee <br /> approved its slate of officers and alternates; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HSAC Bylaws require each council to act on the slate of officers and <br /> alternates proposed by the HSAC Executive Committee; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br /> HSAC Executive Committee officers are approved as follows: <br /> President: Heather Kimball, Hawai`i County Council <br /> Jennifer Kagiwada(Alternate) <br /> Vice-President: Tamara Paltin, Maui County Council <br /> Shane Sinenci (Alternate) <br /> Secretary: Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr., Kaua`i County Council <br /> Bill DeCosta(Alternate) <br /> Treasurer: Tommy Waters, Honolulu City Council <br /> Esther Kia`aina(Alternate) <br />
