• O��Yfes�1h, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I •(4 ' '..` STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> .... .40-4E.1—.1—;;'s. -: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 403 24-1 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF "GRATIS SHIPMENT" TO THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`I FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, Young Brothers is donating "gratis shipment", valued at approximately <br /> $16,485.69 to the County of Hawai`i Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this City and County of Honolulu Emergency Medical Services <br /> Department has donated four(4) ambulances, and the Honolulu Fire Department has donated <br /> three (3) fire engines to the County of Hawai`i and Young Brothers has assisted in the <br /> transport of these vehicles by reducing the cost of shipping fees from $20,966.21 to <br /> $4,480.52; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter,provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br />
