He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and <br /> Marketing from California State University in Chico and his United States Coast Guard <br /> commercial Maritime certificate and license from the Pacific Maritime Academy. Currently, <br /> Matthias is self-employed with Smart Growth, LLC and Marine Source, LLC. <br /> Throughout the years, Matthias has always been an active and engaged community member, <br /> dedicating countless hours to volunteering for numerous organizations and boards.
