.JMjY.oF N,!!!. .. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I �a'' STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> BILL NO. 119 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, OF THE <br /> HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> SPEED LIMITS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is to add speed limits along Honoka`a- <br /> Waipi`o Road. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3, entitled <br /> "25 mile per hour limit", subsection (a) Hamakua, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read <br /> as follows: <br /> • Honoka`a-Waipi`o Road, mauka side, from a point thirty-eight thousand eight hundred <br /> thirty-seven feet (7.4 miles) southeast of Waipi`o Valley Road and extending three <br /> thousand four hundred eighty-six feet southeast of Lehua Street. <br /> • Honoka`a-Waipi`o Road, makai side, from a point three thousand eight hundred thirty <br /> feet (0.7 miles) northwest of Highway 19 and extending to a point two thousand five <br /> hundred fifteen feet northwest of Lehua Street. <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5, entitled <br /> "35 mile per hour limit", subsection (a) Hamakua, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read <br /> as follows: <br /> • Honoka`a-Waipi`o Road, mauka side, from a point five thousand nine hundred fifteen <br /> feet(1.1 miles) east of Waipi`o Valley Road and extending three thousand nine feet in the <br /> southeasterly direction. <br />
