BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawai'i Office of Housing and Community Development has received written notification that <br /> the application for a Transit-Oriented Development Grant request for funding has been approved and <br /> released by the Governor of Hawaii. <br /> The State TOD grant funding will be used to support the assessment, design, and feasibility of low-income <br /> affordable housing in a 10.5 acre portion of Kukuiola Village 9 in North Kona, Hawai'i Island, Hawai'i.
