Reference Exhibit 5: Housing Development Experience, in this <br />description. <br />The general partner of the applicant is an affiliate of the Ahe Group, one of Hawaii's leaders <br />in the affordable housing development industry and has demonstrated success in all facets of <br />development, from acquisition and rehabilitation to new construction and ownership. Located <br />in Kailua, Hawaii, Ahe Group is dedicated to developing quality affordable housing <br />communities with an emphasis on multi -family, senior housing, and workforce housing units. <br />Ahe Group also has the distinction of developing the first LEED Certified Platinum <br />affordable housing properties in Hawaii. Since 2014, Ahe Group has overseen more than $56 <br />million in new construction and rehabilitation for affordable housing. Existing Ahe Group <br />staff has the experience, expertise, and capacity to undertake the proposed project, no <br />additional staffing will be required to undertake this project.
