J�SY OF N, ''.. <br /> i <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -+� �'''= ''��• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .+1 <br /> • -tF OF'HF'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 431 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br /> YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR <br /> TWO MULTI-FUNCTION COPY MACHINES FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY <br /> CLERK. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10-11, of the County Charter, any contract, <br /> lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br /> or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Hawai`i wishes to enter into a five-year lease for two multi- <br /> function copy machines for the Office of the County Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS,the current copy machines, located in the Council Services Section and the <br /> Administrative Services/Legislative Research Branch, are nine years old and obsolete; and <br /> WHEREAS, a five-year lease for two multi-function copy machines would be <br /> approximately $215 per month; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease for two multi-function copy machines <br /> for the Office of the County Clerk. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal <br /> years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
