The <br /> American Job Center—One Stop program is federally mandated by the Department of <br /> Labor and Industrial Relations. The increased funding will cover expenditures related to <br /> the additional costs incurred for rent and utilities generated by a recent office relocation. <br /> Expenses are reimbursed by the federally mandated partners that are required to <br /> participate. <br /> The Department of Research and Development is requesting that this bill be waived from <br /> the Finance Committee and be placed on the March 6, 2024 Council agenda in order to <br /> expedite the receipt of these funds.
